From 2 December 2023 to 7 January 2024, 11 of the Loire Valley’s greatest châteaux will be celebrating the spirit of the festive season with some exceptional tours and events: it’s “Christmas in the land of châteaux” in Touraine.
The châteaux of Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceau, Chinon, Langeais, Loches and Villandry, as well as Chaumont-sur-Loire, Chambord, Cheverny and Blois, are porgramming events, shows and tours on the theme of Christmas in the land of châteaux.
A great way to spend a few days in Touraine in December or during the Christmas holidays.
Château Royal d’Amboise
“Christmas, childhood dreams: The mini worlds of Christmas. Journey into the world of the film Léo and the great joys of Christmas.
Friday 19 December, from 6.30pm to 9pm: night-time candlelight stroll; Friday 22 December, until 8pm: night-time tour of the Christmas trail.
Azay-le-Rideau
“Un Noël à croquer” – The decor features delicacies and tasty dishes.
